Install Android on PC.


Most of you have installed Windows XP/Windows 7/Windows 8 or other versions of Microsoft Windows in your laptop or Desktop PC. And most of you have a pirated Windows which is actually illegal but Android is free for everyone. Generally many people have faith in that Android is a Mobile/Tablet OS and was only created for Mobiles and we cannot install it in Laptop/Desktop.

There are several persons in the world who are Android lovers and buys latest Tablet/Mobile only to enjoy with its interface, designs and look while they already have Desktop/Laptop Computers for that. They don't know that they can do this with their Desktop/Laptop and can install latest versions of Android on PCs. You are here to learn how to install and enjoy Android in you PC and I am here only to give knowledge for installing and running Android in your Desktop/Laptop. Do you know that Tablets/Mobile's Android can only be upgradable to next version or some more next versions. For eg:- If you have Mobile/Tablet with Android 4.0 then you can only upgrade it to 4.2 approx. means you need to buy a new gadget which have latest android version. The only problem with installing Android in Desktop/Laptop is that you cannot use its touch interface if you are using old Desktop/Laptop. Don't worry because you can use its remaining features which are all amazing. After signing into android installed in your PC, you will get access to Google Play Store which provides almost all applications of Android. Now, I am going to give step by step guide for installation process.

Follow me:-

Step 1: Download Latest Android iso file or your favorite one from this location - Click here to go for it.

Step 2: Now, Plug your USB Drive in your PC.

Step 3: Download 7-zip from here - Click here to Download

Step 4: Now, extract files from Android iso file that you have downloaded in step 1 to USB Drive using 7-zip
Tip: Right click on Android iso file, hover on 7-zip, click on Extract files. and at last choose your USB Drive as destination.

Step 5: Now, restart your Desktop/Laptop without removing your USB Drive.

Step 6: Start System BIOS. System BIOS menu can be shown by pressing F2/F12 or Del in Some other systems.

Step 7: Now change Boot sequence as USB Drive as first place and save these settings.

Step 8: Now again restart your PC by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del.

Step 9: After few seconds you will see below menu on screen. See below:-
Step 10: Now choose "Installation - Install Android to harddisk" and press Enter.

Step 11: Now choose system partition in which you want to install Android and pres Enter.

Step 12: Choose file system and assure that the partition in which you are going to install Android have no files which are important to you. If you don't have any then press Enter. If you have then copy them to a safe place such as external USB Drive and start this process again. See below:-

Step 13: Now, press enter when it asks to install Boot Loader Grub. See below:-
Step 14: If you have Windows in any drive it will detect it and if you want to create boot item of Windows in grub then Press Enter.
Tip: If you choose "Yes" then grub will ask what to start 'Android' or 'Windows' when you start your PC. But if you don't have Windows installed in you PC then this window will not appear. Also, make sure that you don't have multi-boot of Windows and Linux OS because it may creates problem in Android booting. See Below(For Windows Installed PC):

Step 15: Now, you will see a installation bar. So, wait until it completes successfully.

Step 16: After installation completes, you will get warning that "You will lost all your data after shutdown" Don't worry just click 'Yes' because it is creating "data.img" file in your partition to use as a Memory for saving changes with it.
Note: If you choose 'No' it will save changed data to as temporary and delete at shutdown.

Step 17: If you choose 'Yes', it will ask how much memory to create. This is your choice that how much memory you want to create. It is between 512 MB to 2047 MB. Now, press Enter after you have chosen. 

Step 18: It will take some more than 30 seconds to create "data.img" depending on you partitioned drive speed.

Step 19: Now, Installation Completes. Choose whether to Run Android or run it after Reboot.
Note: After you choose reboot, remove your USB Drive and rearrange boot sequence as CD/DVD Drive as first and Hard Disk Drive as seconds.



Now, Its time to enjoy with Android.

  1. I am unable to boot into USB drive, there is no option in BOOT order (BIOS) to select USB as first boot device.

    1. This is because your BIOS not accepts to read data from USB slots before booting a OS. This probably happens when you changes USB slots without removing that old ones. Unfortunately, In this condition, you cannot boot from a USB drive. Burn it on CD/DVD and then booting will work fine.
